The year 2011 was extra special as it was my thirtieth year and final visit to the Northern Great Plains. What started out as a once in a lifetime journey with Trek America in 1981 had somehow consumed much of my free time for three decades driving 187,000 miles across highways and Interstates of the USA documenting the Great Plains Indian Wars of 1854-1890. Pictured my up close and personal look while visiting the Real Bird Family 34th Reenactment of the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876.
