DOUGH TO DEITY
Description
The Project "DOUGH TO DEITY" is a short amalgam of shots to summarize a long process of making IDOLS for a sacred
festival of DURGA PUJA held to celebrate the GODDESS. The artisans involved have a meticulous job initiated with choosing
the right ingredients, materials, clay, colors, bamboo sticks and decoration items. The making of an IDOL is symbolic of the
old ritual with green initiatives. The artisans prepare the basic structure from bamboo sticks and hay and plaster it with clay
and soil.
