Donaucity Bridge, Vienna

Description

My goal was to photograph this bridge using a long exposure as the basis for a black-and-white fine art image.
I created the hard masks for the steel cables from scratch, and then the post-processing worked.
For me, the most important elements in the composition were the pylon, the cables and the profiled parapet alongside the tracks.
I deliberately emphasised the buildings in the background only slightly with light, as they form the second plane of the image but are important to the composition
