Description

Through my use of lighting I wanted to further emphasise the ‘soaring’ quality of the bank towers. I deliberately incorporated the street lamp as an additional stylistic element through my choice of location. To prevent it from appearing as an almost black foreign object, I artificially illuminated it in Photoshop.
The distribution of brightness in the sky was created very deliberately to create a contrast with the buildings and emphasise their volume.
