The dancing sky

Description

The forecast for that night was an unbroken blanket of clouds, with almost no hope of the sky clearing. We stayed in the car and waited patiently, chatting in the dark. Then I saw some stars shining bright through the car window, so we got out and set all our cameras. Slowly, the sky cleared and we saw the aurora in the background, increasing and covering the milky way over the mountains, also a bright meteor passed above the peaks of Eystrahorn, in a nocturnal, otherwordly symphony.
