Sea of Clouds

Description

Above the dark volcanic slopes, a pale ocean of cloud gathers at the horizon, holding the low sun like a quiet signal. Water appears as vapour, sky becomes tide, and the landscape seems suspended between sea and air, distance and stillness, in a soft monochrome hush, just before day dissolves again.
