Cloud Crown Over Tenerife

Description

Dark volcanic ridges rise beneath a luminous belt of clouds, turning the Tenerife landscape into a threshold between earth, atmosphere and apparition. In monochrome, the scene shifts away from description towards perception: rock, vapour and sky become interdependent fields of mass, movement and light, briefly holding the mountain between visibility and concealment.
