Day Of The Dead

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant and deeply meaningful celebration that holds a special place in Los Angeles. For several years I’ve been watching people going in and out of the event that happens every October at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. I was fascinated with all of the people painting their faces and wearing masks to represent their beliefs. I photographed over 200 people to show the amazing diversity of this celebration.
