Description

The photograph was taken in a nomadic camp of the Mundari people from Sudan. Members of this tribe are known for raising Ankole cattle with large horns. In the evening, they burn dried cow dung to protect themselves from mosquitoes. That smoke, combined with the setting sun, creates a magical photographic backdrop.
