Tabourida
Description
Tbourida is a traditional Moroccan equestrian art rooted in 16th-century military traditions. Groups of riders perform synchronized parades, starting with a ceremonial salute and ending with a powerful gallop and collective rifle fire. Dressed in historical attire, they embody Arab-Amazigh heritage passed through generations. Practiced during national and local celebrations, Tbourida reflects identity, unity, and pride, with women increasingly joining to preserve this living tradition.
