Lancaster County, PA – Black and White Book Project
Description
In 2019, I started a black and white book project documenting the daily life in Lancaster County, PA. The Amish and Mennonite sects have lived and farmed here since 1710. The project is still ongoing and was broken up into many small trips at different times of the year. Much of the work depicts the Amish and Mennonite daily lifestyle. The Amish shun modern amenities using no electricity and horse and buggy. I have logged over 4500 miles photographing anything that I happened upon.
